Our Family Motto

We, the Peterson Family:

Promise to be honest in all we do and say,

Stand tall and righteous throughout each day.

Serve around the world and in our home,

Give thanks for blessings we’ve been shown.

We’ll work as a team with joy and love,

And honor our Heavenly Father above.

Paper Plate Faces

Supplies:
Paper plate
Yarn (for hair)
Colored paper
Scissors
Glue
Crayons
Any materials you want to make facial features!

Directions:
Cut out pieces of colored paper to make shapes for different facial features. You could also cut out pictures from magazines of eyes, mouths, noses... etc.
Glue them onto the plate
That's basically it!
Color in any features you want to include on your face.

I tried to sit down with Parker before we started and ask him what was on his face and tell him what each feature did. (ie: you use your nose to smell...) He thought this was pretty funny. I once knew a child who didn't know that he had holes in his nose. Teaching moment? I think so!

Have fun and be creative and see what kind of faces you can come up with!
