Stained Glass Hearts

Supplies:

Wax paper

Crayons

Grater

Iron (Adult Only)

Yarn

Directions:

Give each child a piece of waxed paper on which he will shave pieces of crayon using the grater. When they are finished, lay another piece of waxed paper on top of the shavings. Press the children's creations with the iron to melt the crayon. When cool, the children can cut the waxed paper into heart shapes, punch a hole for yarn and hang in a window.
